Prof. Stefan Tai

Stefan Tai is Professor at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and Scientific Director at the FZI Research Center for Information Technology, Office Berlin, Germany. Stefan's research interests are in the area of Service Computing and Enterprise Middleware, and in particular, relate to the engineering of dependable cloud services and platform architectures. Prior to his appointments in Germany in 2007, Stefan was for eight years a Research Staff Member at IBM’s Thomas J. Watson Research Center in New York, USA. Stefan published more than 70 peer-reviewed papers and also is co-author of a Springer textbook on Cloud Computing.
