Active Session History: Advanced Analysis

Active Session History fundamentally changed the way we do performance tuning when it was introduced in 10g, and with each release of the database it captures more information and we can do more with it. This presentation skips the basic principles and instead looks at some examples curated from real-life where ASH was used in a slightly unusual way to point to the root causes of some interesting problems, and to point out traps to be avoided.
