International groups, DAX companies, authorities, or German global leaders from the higher small and mid-size enterprises – many of these organizations have one thing in common: at least parts of their IT infrastructure are based on Oracle technologies. To get the most out of these sophisticated but also quite complex products, a profound, substantiated, and practice-oriented expert knowledge is necessary that cannot be acquired by only relying on official documentation or course books.

This specific know-how can be acquired via the DOAG by both IT and business professionals, working in an Oracle environment.

Wide Network, large Treasure of Experience

Since 1988, the association guarantees the best exchange of experience possible in the Oracle scene by its highly branched network. Because who could report better on how to remove obstacles in the way than the users themselves?

Numerous events throughout the year are regarded as voice and networking platform of the Oracle community.

Our voice is heard! Oracle users in the German-speaking region particularly appreciate the association's independence from the vendor. As a result, problems are addressed.

The development community is a platform for software development with the aid of Oracle tools such as APEX, ADF, and PL/SQL. The community serves as an exchange platform for process-related subjects such as business process management (BPM) and service-oriented architecture (SOA).

In close cooperation with the Interessenverbund der Java User Groups e.V. (iJUG), the Java community connects iJUG members and regional groups of the DOAG. Work with young people is also an integral part of this community's range of tasks.

Next Generation

The next generation unites young IT professionals, students, and trainees under 35 years and contributes to the association with its own events and media.
