European NetSuite User Days 2023: Presentations, Vibe and lots of Networking

The international event on the ERP tool NetSuite left a positive impression on the 187 participants.

With more contributions, more visitors and more exhibitors, the European NetSuite User Days from November 20 to 21, 2023 were once again convincing and even more successful than last year.
 

Continuing from Last Year

But let's start from the beginning: The participants were invited to an exclusive lunch at the Vasco da Gama Restaurant in the Nuremberg Convention Center (NCC) on November 20. This was an opportunity to catch up with familiar faces and exchange ideas. But new NetSuite enthusiasts were also welcomed with open arms. Right from the start, you could tell that everyone was getting along well and that it was going to be a great two days at the conference on the popular ERP tool. This was also ensured by the exciting program after the welcome in the main hall of the event area. Kasi Färcher-Haag, Chief Financial Officer at DOAG e.V. and part of the program committee of the European NetSuite User Days, welcomed everyone, gave a brief overview of the European NetSuite User Days 2023 - and then it was time to get started.

Over two days, NetSuite was covered in the subject areas "Industries", "Infrastructure & System", "Integrations & Apps" and "Localizations" in expert presentations with live demos, tips and tricks as well as best practices. Participants listened to the presentations and shared their experience with the community. Between the presentations and other contributions, there was plenty of time to network in the exhibition area with a hot drink of your choice and a few snacks or to find out about the latest products and solutions from one of our 26 exhibitors and sponsors.

On the first evening, all participants were invited to a "Networking & Drinks" session and then to a delicious dinner with delicacies from the Vasco da Gama restaurant. Here we toasted the first successful day together. Those who still felt like it were able to round off the evening in a relaxed atmosphere at the hotel bar. The still small, but fine international community with all age groups created a positive vibe that could be felt everywhere the next day.
 

The Second Day with a Good Atmosphere

The second day of the conference continued with specialist presentations and networking. There were also insightful panel discussions on artificial intelligence and business intelligence with lively participation, as well as instructive training sessions on "Data Import" and "Saved Search vs SuiteQL". At the end of the event, Kasi Färcher-Haag and Peter von Zimmermann, NetSuite Theme Manager and part of the European NetSuite User Days program team, moderated a joint feedback session with all participants. Grateful for the honest answers, the positive feedback and the ideas for 2024, the “European NetSuite User Days” book was closed for this year. In the end, everyone was delighted with another successful event in the field of business solutions, which will whet the appetite for more in the new year. Katharina Schraft, Chief Business Solutions Officer and Head of the Business Solutions Community at DOAG e.V., is delighted and looking forward to the future:

“It was an all-round successful event with many interested and exciting participants. I was pleased to see new partners who have not often appeared on the German or European market before and to make new contacts. The program was varied and balanced – atrend topics were also addressed. The attendees were particularly pleased with the hands-on sessions – we should definitely expand this next year and ask in advance which topics are desired. You can clearly see that the event has the potential to become a fixed annual must-attend event for users and partners in Europe.”

Peter von Zimmermann agrees and adds:

“It were very intensive days in Nuremberg and you can really say that we succeeded in bringing the NetSuite community together. In particular, we made the leap from Germany to Europe. Lots of very interesting participants and discussions, lots of fun. For next year we will try to be even more attractive for NetSuite customers. The training courses were very well received, more of them and even more practical relevance is what customers want. The interesting panels on AI and BI were also particularly well received.”
