Creating or expanding a platform for the NetSuite community in Europe – that was precisely the goal of the European NetSuite User Days 2024. On November 18 and 19, 130 experts, speakers and interested parties came together to discuss the latest developments and best practices relating to NetSuite.
Peter von Zimmermann, Head of NetSuite of DOAG e.V. and part of the NetSuite conference organization team, says: "The European NetSuite User Days have now taken place for the third time and are establishing themselves as an integral part of the communication of the NetSuite community in Europe."
Diverse program
On the eve of the conference, some partners met for an exclusive meeting with culinary accompaniment. Joint goals for the future were explored and discussed. Similar to last year, the first real day of the conference began with lunch, where the participants were able to get to know each other a little. It quickly became apparent that the atmosphere was good and everyone was looking forward to the next time together and the presentations. After a short detour to the larger exhibition, Martin Kalkuhl, Katharina Schraft, Kasi Färcher-Haag (Chief Financial Officer, Deputy Community Leader of DOAG e.V. and part of the NetSuite conference organization team) and Peter von Zimmermann warmly welcomed the participants of this year's European NetSuite User Days. After the introductory words, we immediately moved on to the joint keynote speech by James Chisham, Vice President Product Management of Oracle NetSuite, and Mathias Reinecke, Regional Product Manager of Oracle NetSuite DACH & Benelux. They gave a brief review of the year for NetSuite, a product update and an outlook on the upcoming releases and new products. Artificial intelligence will of course also play a major role.
Other highlights were the interesting panels on BI, analytics and AI as well as localization and e-invoicing. The experts discussed the respective topics with each other and with the audience. Extremely exciting views were shared and important questions answered.
The two days filled with specialist presentations, a host of inspiring customer reports, networking, discussion rounds and interactive sessions focusing on "Localization", "Reporting & AI", "NetSuite Tech" and "Cash Control", which aimed to expand the knowledge of the participants, were very well received – as was the larger space for the exhibition.
Larger exhibition with innovation
The exhibition on the second level of the conference center featured 20 booths where partners presented their products and services. Here, participants were able to discover innovations, make new contacts and discuss possible integrations for their existing NetSuite solutions. The "Ask the Experts" format was particularly practical and new. The experts sat on a rotating platform and directly addressed the concerns of the participants in a different kind of speed dating.
After dinner on the first day of the conference, there was the opportunity to chat with other participants in a relaxed atmosphere at the hotel bar and make valuable contacts in the NetSuite community.
Conclusion
The European NetSuite User Days 2024 once again underlined the importance of a strong network and practical insights for companies that rely on the leading cloud ERP solution. It was an excellent opportunity for both newcomers and experienced users to learn more and learn from each other.
Martin Kalkuhl, Head of Netsuite Products & Partners and part of the NetSuite Conference organization team, sums up the event as follows: "We were particularly pleased this year about the participation of Oracle NetSuite itself and the discussions with numerous partners about how we can pull together even better in the future for the benefit of our joint customers. Our goal is to create a strong community where NetSuite users and experts can exchange ideas and learn from each other. We believe that we can achieve more together and are therefore working within the DOAG to further establish NetSuite in Europe. We are therefore very much hoping for more partners to support DOAG at next year's event."
Katharina Schraft, Chairman and Head of the Business Solutions Community of DOAG e.V. and part of the NetSuite conference organization team, agrees: "I would like to thank all participants and contributors to this year's European NetSuite User Days. We had three intensive days that showed that the community is growing and that the willingness to actively participate is also increasing."
