JavaLand 2024: New Date and Location, Call for Papers extended

The decision is still young. Just two weeks ago, the conference management visited the Nürburgring and coordinated all the details with the people responsible there. This was followed by the offer and now the decision: Yes, we'll do it. As a result, there will be a new location as well as a new date. JavaLand 2024 will take place from April 9 to 11 at Nürburgring, Otto-Flimm-Straße, 53520 Nürburg. A JavaLand 4 Kids is also planned again. Due to the postponement of the date, the milestones are also adjusted and this allows us to extend the call for papers once again. So if you have missed to submit a training proposal or an application for the Newcomer Program so far, you have the chance to do so again until October 10! Regular presentations can still be submitted via the Call for Papers until October 24.

Nürburgring offers countless opportunities to hold a great conference. You can look forward to a special program and plenty of highlights that will make the tenth anniversary of JavaLand unforgettable. Of course, we will also make sure that travel and accommodation will still be as easy and convenient as possible for you at the new location. We are currently working on a comprehensive transport concept and will inform you as soon as we have new information.

The fine tuning is still in progress. More details and what you can look forward to at JavaLand 2024 will be announced as soon as we know more. The background
As we previously reported, it is no longer possible to implement JavaLand in its current format at Phantasialand next year. Due to massive price increases and the unavailability of rides, we saw no possibility to hold a conference worthy of an anniversary here, despite several rounds of negotiations. We would like to thank Phantasialand for the many years of cooperation and regret that we are parting ways.
