Our JavaLand speakers and those who would like to become one once again broke the submission record and fed the Call for Papers with an incredible 739 lecture proposals. This figure does not include the applications for the Newcomer Program and submissions for the Training Day, which each had their own application process – wow!
We are very pleased with the high level of participation and would like to thank the community for their interest in inspiring other Java fans. Last year's Call for Papers already shone with 550 submissions and broke all previous records, but the new growth of almost 35% leaves all previous records far behind.
From the Call for Papers to the program
What happens now? The members of the program committee now have the task of reviewing and evaluating all the presentations. At the beginning of December, they will meet for the program session in Berlin and put together the lecture program from the best-rated presentations. You won't have to wait too long for the final version either: We are currently planning to publish the agenda for JavaLand 2024 before Christmas! So look forward to the concentrated load of Java knowledge behind a door on your Advent calendar!
You missed the Call for Papers, but still want to be part of JavaLand? No problem! Tickets for JavaLand 2024 from April 9 to 11 at Nürburgring are still available until February 15 at the exclusive early bird price!
JavaLand 2024: New record numbers for the Call for Papers of the anniversary edition
