Review: Successful Debut of the DOAG TechSessions

  • Created by Lisa Damerow

The first free TechSession generated a great deal of interest: Nearly 50 participants tuned in to the online session and discussed the opportunities and challenges of using AI in modernization projects.

In his session titled “Speed and Safety in Oracle Forms Migrations – The Role of AI Guardrails,” speaker Gergely Dombi, CEO and co-founder of Kodesage, demonstrated how AI can help analyze extensive Oracle Forms landscapes quickly, identify dependencies, and better assess the complexity of migration projects. At the same time, he highlighted the limitations of purely rule-based approaches and explained the role that so-called AI guardrails play in protecting sensitive business logic even when using modern AI models.

In closing, Gergely Dombi aptly summarized the key message of his presentation: “AI can dramatically accelerate Oracle Forms migrations, but only when speed is combined with control and trust.”

By the way: Kodesage will also be attending the DOAG 2026 Conference + Exhibition from November 17 to 19 in Nuremberg and looks forward to great conversations with you!
