Thomas Much

Thomas brings four decades of experience in software development — from Assembler and Java 1.0 to today’s AI-driven tooling, from home computers to vibe coding, and from solo developer to team-of-teams environments. He currently works as a Technical Coach at Techniker Krankenkasse (TK) in Hamburg, where he helps teams continuously improve collaboration and engineering practices. His area of work includes pair and team programming, TDD/BDD, CI/CD, modular architectures, agentic engineering, and collaborative modelling – always with the goal of building sustainable, high-quality software systems.
